Juliette and Caroline are now in charge of this estate, now in its fifth generation in the same family and based in Savigny-lès-Beaune. Being Burgundy, Chardonnay for the whites and Pinot Noir for the reds are the main varieties, but the estate is also has some old vine Pinot Blanc ( historically not uncommon ) which the sisters say adds suppleness to their Chardonnays. This Bourgogne Blanc is mineral and complex, with a steely elegance, apple character and notes of hazelnut and sesame. Aged in old oak for 10 months prior to bottling, the intention is to express the fruit of the 30 year vines to the full.

Price includes one bottle, delivered in a gift box.
